Quick and Easy Fresh Fig Jam

I love to make this quick and easy fresh fig jam for the Fall. This jam also pairs perfectly with my favorite food – cheese!


  • 1 lb fresh figs, stems removed and quartered
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • zest from 1 whole lemon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp honey


  1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and heat on high until the mixture starts to bubble.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring frequently until the desired consistency, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
  3. Optional: using an immersion blender, zap the mixture to blend the fig slices into the jam.
