Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon

Salmon is one of those great weeknight proteins since it cooks so quickly!  It also thaws quickly, which is great when you forget to take it out the night before.  I must admit, I have done this far too often!  You can also prepare a wonderful dinner or lunch in as little as fifteen or twenty minutes when working with salmon.

I love to make this particular salmon dish because it has the perfect balance of spicy and sweet flavors.  This sauce is also great over chicken or other types of fish.  I recommend serving the salmon over rice to absorb the sauce.

How to Make the Best Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon

While the full recipe instructions are available below, here are some tips to make amazing tangy and sweet salmon.

  • First, rub the spices onto the fish.  This is important because it will season it well and add lots of flavor to the fish.
  • Next, you will whisk together the ingredients for the honey mustard sauce.  Spray a nine by thirteen baking dish with non-stick spray and place the seasoned salmon fillets in it.  Pour the mustard sauce over the salmon.
  • Finally, bake the salmon in a preheated oven at 400F for approximately twelve to fifteen minutes.  The salmon is done when it starts to flake apart.  The internal temperature should reach 145F.  Serve over rice or potatoes to absorb the extra sauce and enjoy!
