What Type of Rum Should I Use for This Cocktail?

Sweet orange and fresh pineapple juice are natural flavors that combine with a unique blend of different types of rum to create this delicious drink.

Bacardi is produced mainly in Puerto Rico using premium cane sugar in its process. For this reason, I recommend using two types of Bacardi rum for this recipe, since it uses both light and dark rum. For the white rum, I recommend using Bacardi superior. For the dark rum, I recommend using Bacardi black rum.

Dark rum like Bacardi black is distilled using charred barrels prior to being filtered and bottled after being distilled. This is what gives dark rum its bold color and flavor. Because of this, you do not want to skip adding this to your cocktail since it adds so much depth to the flavor!
