How to Make the Best Crispy Toasted Pita Triangles

There are a few important things to consider when making pita chips:

  • You need to spread the olive oil using a basting or pastry brush.  This is important because you need a thin even layer of olive oil so the seasoning will stick to it.
  • Be a little more generous with the seasoning than you think is necessary.  There is a fine balance between over and under seasoning.  Finding the perfect level for your taste is a journey!
  • Experiment with your favorite herbs to season your pita triangles.  I prefer cracked salt and pepper with dried oregano, but thyme and rosemary would also work well.
  • Do not forget these in the oven.  We will be cooking these under the broiler at a high heat, so they will cook quickly!

What to Serve Your Pita Triangles With

Because these pita chips have seasoning on them already, you can have them on their own, but I also love to pair them with my favorite dips! You can try them with any of the following:

You can also accompany them with curries or stews for dipping.
