The Best Dip Ever

This dip has been a staple at social gatherings since I can remember. It is my mom's signature appetizer and it is always a hit no matter who is over! I remember my mom would always make this dip when I had friends over. It quickly became a hit and was always requested whenever they were over.

While this dip is definitely an indulgence, it is super simple to make! There are only five ingredients which are easy to grab at the grocery store. You likely have some or all of them at home already. The ingredients are easy to throw together too which is perfect for a last minute crowd pleaser!

How to Make The Best Dip Ever

While the full recipe instructions are available below, here are some tips to make this crowd pleasing appie!

  • First, add the cream cheese, Tex Mex cheese, salsa, and diced peppers to an oven safe dish. Mash the ingredients together using a potato masher. I usually get Julian to do this part since he has more arm muscles.
  • Now, bake the mixture in the oven until the cheese is melted and is hot and bubbling at the top.  There should be a little bit of browning on the top.
  • Let it cool a few minutes, the dip will be very hot at this point! Serve with tortilla chips or whatever other vessel you prefer to scoop this gooey cheesy concoction into your mouth!
